since i last updated this poor, neglected blog, i.......
...drove a 15-seater van mostly full of international students to gatlinburg.
...learned the first part of mj's THRILLER dance...
...ate an entire meal with chop sticks.
...sat in the middle of the little pigeon river barefoot and talked about all kinds of stuff for who-knows-how-long.......
...read a walt whitman poem.
...got called "mom" by a 23-year-old...(simon).....UGH!!!!!!!
...walked through gatlinburg at midnight two nights in a row with very different people. all of whom i happen to love. a lot.
...went to a birthday party for a crazy pakistani. yay!!!!

...went to a chinese lunar festival and ate lunar cake!!! =)
...cried in a play about kids with polio. (lol)
...went to the asg fall picnic.
...took a nap in the foyer of the uc.
...watched a very dumb movie with very intriguing thought processes...
...took a "family and friends cpr" class. NO COMMENT.
...discovered that rosetta stone levels 1, 2, and 3 korean can be purchased for only $500. is it worth it?
...went to a free swing dance class.
...helped kids paint their hands to make hand-print leaves for out "tree"...gotta love the cdl...

...started writing a peom - for no reason except that i wanted to.
...went to ihop in my pjs and studyed psychology.

...got a parking ticket. (NOT yay!)
...met a ton of wonderful international students.
...moved to cookeville.
...ate ice cream at 858...(ask me about 858!)
...visited home. (?)
...stayed in the library studying til 2355...
...bought a loaf of bread for $0.79.
...felt like a total idiot and a total nerd at the same time...honors will do that to you!
...danced for 2 hours on dixie.
...went to a red bull party. (and got busted by the police...busted for what??! it was red bull!! lol - that was so fun!)
...talked to all of my professors.
...have met, like, 5 other bethanys...so weird!
...read - and LOVED - robert frost.
...went to an "ice cream social"...yeah...LOL
...started an autobiography. it's a project for honors 1010 - i'm not really that big into writing about myself...as you must know if you see how infrequently i update this blog!!
...lived at least 4 dreams:
--> moved out of my parents' house
--> moved to cookeville, tn
--> got an apartment with my big sis
--> started college
--> became an official TN TECH student!
.........i guess that's 5. YaY!

...jumped off a cliff and wasn't scared.
...drove for 15 hours in 1 day.
...worked at dollywood's splash country.
...had a conversation with a lady in gatlinburg - in spanish.
...went into a psychic place thingy.
...brought my brother to smp.
...spent over an hour on youtube.
...did an inductive study of colossians.
...drank a yoohoo.
...met up with some wi friends in pf.
...talked to some random christians in a sprint store.
...asked beth ann tollison to disciple me.
...got a $512 check from dollywood.
...impressed 2 people so much that they talked about me all summer and begged me to come back to work with them next summer. LOL
...colored my lips with permanent sharpie.
...got in trouble for having pink hair.
...gave several random guys haircuts.
...showered an average of 7 times a week.
...took a giant bite out of my fear of people...praise Jesus!!
...got jumped on in the middle of the night...ok, it was only 10 minutes after i fell asleep, but i mean, really?!
...made friends with a girl from thailand.
...caught a dodge ball out of the air with one hand.
...nailed chris houser in the back of the head with the same ball.
...danced to survivor with 9 other college students.
...scrubbed a toiled with paper towels.
...slammed a door in someone's face purposefully...yeah, i was a jerk.
...got asked if i was 29.
...got told i looked 16.
...typed a four-page email to my parents.
and, uhm, can i have your number??! can i have it? can i have it?!

i guess my life has been pretty boring recently.....
....evidenced by the fact that i haven't blogged anything new in 2 months... oops!
there have been a number of reasons for that, but i won't go into it...i will fill in a few things i've done for the first time since then.
ate calamary.
wore a swimsuit. (=O)
slow danced...with a guy.
sang in a wedding.
went on an unofficial date to waffle house where all i got was chocolate milk...ya - it was def unofficial...
bought a $50 dress.
had my hair curled.
met a random due in a coffee shop who bought me coffee!! it was yummay.
went to a prom.
sunburned my back.
painted a goose egg. like an avacado.
cried on mothers' day.
ate at shoney's.
got treated better than a brand new BMW...
